Description
An archaeological monitoring was carried out on land at Gables Farm, Tunstall on the 13th May 2009 as part of the excavation of a new storm water drain/reservoir. Although the reservoir had already been partially excavated, it was still possible to monitor a significant proportion of the area involved. Two post-medieval/modern features were observed.
