Full Description

Circa 1954: Rom pottery scatter recorded by Grace Briscoe centred around TL 7428 7388 (S1)(R1).
1969: Rom pottery scatter found in disturbed soil on line of N sea gas pipeline (incorrectly cited as TL 744 738) by Geoff Moss (S1). 1980: Thin scatter of Rom pottery, including Samian & IA hand-made sand tempered sherds, found in molehills etc, during site visit, situated on sandhill (S3).
