Full Description

August 1983: Fragment of the socket, 4.2 cms long, including the side loop, of a socketed bronze axe. Found by [the late] John King, with a metal detector, in spoil from topsoil clearance & footings for a new bungalow (S1)(S2).
Note hoard of socketed axes from circa 200m to NW, IKL 085.
