Full Description
June 1989: Watching brief on housing development on former meadow located Med house platform & pottery scatter. One-third of platform destroyed, two- thirds survive. Finds: 340gm Med coarseware and two sherds stoneware, date range C13-C15. Full details & sketch plan in (S2).
Further three house platforms, circa 30-40cm high, on E part of site (area to be retained as green) & Med & PMed pottery & tile scatters from developed W portion of site - details in parish file (S2)(S3).
