Full Description

Foundations of an extensive building said to have been discovered when Priory Field converted to arable in early C19 (S1).
Two Rom coins of Trajan (AD 98-117) and Carausius (AD 287-293) found on "Priory Field" with Med and PMed coin scatters in 1845 (S2) - see Med & PMed.
1993: Scatter of Rom pottery, mainly C3-C4, together with a probable tile tessera and a possible IA sherd, found in an area centred on TM 1759 6342. Further scatters at TM 1760 6348 and 1762 6355 (S4).
1994: Tegula fragment in TM 1760 6348 area (S5).
