Full Description

Leaf shaped sword `dredged up some months ago from the Little Ouse about three miles from Wilton' (Hockwold cum Wilton)(S1). Findspot should approximate to TL 6900 8620.
Ewart Park sword with blade with slight mid-rib and edge bevels and ricasso notches. Straight shoulders, short tang slot. Length 56.3cms. Found 1929, presented to Cambridge University Museum by Ouse Drainage Board (S2).
