Full Description

Sudbury town gas works, built 1836 (1892 lessee C H Grimwood, who was also owner of the Clare Works)(S1)(R1).
Shown on Tithe Map (S2) and later OS maps which show changing positions of tanks. Remnants levelled June 2002.
HER reference changed from SUY Misc in June 2002 prior to archaeological monitoring works by A F Howland Associates (details to follow).
