Full Description

Known as `New Mill', this small post mill was moved to its present site in the mid C19 and was burnt down in 1916. It had four patent sails, two pairs of stones in the head and a fantail. The lower part of the two storey roundhouse remains, roofed over and dis-used at present (S1). Post with roundhouse, built around 1870 (S2), mapped 1882 (S3)(R1).
