Full Description

Spread of pottery sherds, mainly part-glazed Late Med and Transitional types, including some wasters (S1). Ware usually has a well-fired grey fabric with a thick dark green to purple-black glaze. Probably a pottery kiln site. Smaller spreads of similar material were noted at TM 2437 8050 and TM 2470 8052, with a scatter in between.
