Full Description

Large four-storey smock mill, demolished circa 1900. The base remains incorporated into a modern power mill. There were four patent sails, a domed cap with fantail and six pairs of stones (S1). Earliest mapping 1783. Close by was a tower mill built circa 1850 - RAT 018 (S2).
