Full Description

Small post mill with single storey roundhouse. Built in 1781, it was raised in 1830 and the roundhouse was added in 1879. It ceased work in 1936 and was demolished in May 1957. The roundhouse remains as a store. There were four patent sails, two pairs of stones (head and tail) and a fantail (S1). Flint lists two mills together, the first dismantled in 1957, the other erected in 1928, coming from Huntingfield, being a post mill with a buck only (S2).
