June 1991: Watching brief located 1 possible core, 6 flakes and 1 small sherd of hand- made flint filled (possibly Iron Age) pottery (abraded) along 100m length of route of water pipeline following topsoil stripping. No features visible (S1).
Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S2).
