Full Description

"Shield pattern" unlooped bronze palstave found on grassland by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), with a metal detector (S1). 15cm long, blade 6.4cm wide, `shield' decoration on the blade is combined with a central ridge to produce a trident effect. Class 1 Group 3 palstave of the MBA (S2).
