Full Description
Glevering Hall. House built on new site by John White of London for Chaloner Arcedeckne 1791-7, enlarged by Decimus Burton 1834-5. Grey brick, 2.5 storeys, 7-bay front. Occupied by army 1939-45 and then used as a store. Repaired and reconstructed 1981 and now divided into apartments. Large grey brick stable to rear (N of house). 7-bay orangery with glass dome, by Decimus Burton 1833, to W of house at TM 2987 5759. Walled garden to N of stable block (S1-S3).
