Full Description

Bronze pegged spearhead. Socket end in 4 fragments. Blade edge damaged in one area. Restored length circa 14.2 cms. Found at Burnt Fen, near Shippea Hill, in the 1940s and given to (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1).
`Burnt Fen' is used loosely locally and Shippea Hill is just in Cambridgeshire. Findspot could be either side of county boundary. Area mostly below 0m OD.
Also (?modern) solid cone shaped unglazed pottery object from same general area (no details).
