Full Description

Circa March 1991: fieldwalking assessment by SAU located only 2 worked flints from double traverse of whole field SE edge, poor surface visibility (S1).
January 1992: following topsoil strip over a 9m width of water pipeline route, a tight scatter of potsherds identified at cited grid reference, including sherd of comb impressed beaker. Details forthcoming (S2). Also Rom.
