Suggested line of former Grimsditch continuing from Thornham Parva 002 (S1)(S2). Grimsditch named in C13 document (Brit Library Harleian 52 A 49) possibly relating to Sax earthwork bank?, cf Devils Dyke, Black Ditches etc.
