Full Description
August/September 1992: Assessment trenches on proposed building site located series of features, pottery, burnt flints etc., of LBA and/or IA date (S1)(S2).
December 1992: Full excavation of features exposed in footing trenches over site followed revealing further features and artefacts of LBA/IA date (also see BA), suggesting local settlement although no definite structural features were located apart from one IA(?) & two undated post holes - details in (S2).
