Full Description

April 1993: Finds from spoil from foundation trench for extension (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), included: 44 sherds Thetford type ware (1 decorated), 1 sherd St Neots type ware and 2 lumps of fired clay and a few Med sherds. Excavation at base of trench by Colin Pendleton followed locating 1 large 4.3m wide pit(?) containing Thetford and St Neots type wares and one smaller circular feature (post hole?) with Thetford type ware. Details in (S1).
Adjoins contemporary finds and features BRD 024 & BRD 083.
