Full Description
1992: Assemblage of 232 worked flints excavated in trial trench across ring ditch (see Un), 29% of which were blades and 34% were patinated blue or white, suggesting a substantial Mesolithic component, which was confirmed by the presence of 4 microliths. The Mesolithic element was presumed to be residual rather than related to the ring ditch (S1-S3).
