Moat, occupied, close to BRP 002, complex, rectangular.
Marked as 'Brampton Hall site of' on OS (S1).
Old mansion (part) destroyed by fire 1733, remains converted to farmhouse - engraving by H Davy in 1826. New Hall built circa 1796 (S2), circa 2 K to SW and N of church.
