Full Description
Ipswich mint. Established in Late Saxon period, AD 925. Still in operation in late 12th Early 13th Centuries. Coins produced include those of the following kings: Eadgar (AD 954-975); Harold I (AD 1035-1040); Henry I (AD 1100-1135) and John (AD 1199-1216) (S1-S4).
Possibly at the site of the NCP car park on Upper Orwell Street, (S5)
