Full Description

Observation of two contractors pits within the St Samson octagon. Pits dug on either side of the central strong room wall (modern) to allow underpinning. Pits 140cm deep, fill composed of bands of soil and flint and mortar, PMed pottery present in soil. No structures, no bottom (S1, S2)). See also Med.
