Full Description

Church Green shown and named on Hodskinson's Map of Suffolk 1783 (S1). Shown and named on OS 1st editiion 1:2,500 map of 1884 (S2). Shown but not named on modern OS 1:10,000 map. Forms an extension of Southolt Green (see SLT 007). In 1963 Southolt had two existing commons: Great Green (14.25 acres) and Little Green (1.25 acres), together 15.5 acres (S3).
