Full Description
In 1984 Moyses Hall Museum acquired a copper alloy Med horse pendant dating C14-C15. It is hinged and in the shape of a shell; 1.9cm long when closed and 3.2cm when open. It probably hung loose from the horse's harness. It was found with a metal detector by the donor(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) and examined and dated by John Cherry of the British Museum.
