Full Description
May 1994: Area of former flint mines. Small area of good earthwork survival on NE edge of woodland block, rest of block partially levelled by forestry raking subsequent to clearance of pine plantation and prior to replanting. Very rapid survey identified spread chalk spoil from mine shafts and quartered flints (not retained). Density and extent not determined (S1). Probably extension of BRD 098.
