Full Description
1995: Two scatters of worked flint identified during watching brief over circa 200m of destumping on North side of East-West forest ride prior to road widening.
TL 8443 7525: 1 core & 3 unpatinated flakes plus 1 burnt flint; also 1 patinated flake nearby.
TL 8458 7519 (approx): 1 unpatinated core, 3 highly patinated flakes & 3 unpatinated flakes (S1).
Within what is shown as arable field on 1880s OS map.
Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they are probably later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S2).
Formerly recorded as WRW MISC.
