Full Description
July 1995: Evaluation trenches revealed extensive area of features including ditches and buried soil with prehistoric and mainly Roman finds. Part of occupation site S of Caudle Head (S1).
July 1997: Further Roman and Saxon features dated by pottery and a dark earth were identified during monitoring (S2).
