Summary

August 1995: Evaluation of site of proposed stable block close to church (EXG 031) and M/LSax site (EXG 052) revealed single undated narrow gully and two Medieval coins.

Full Description

August 1995: Evaluation of site of proposed stable block close to church (EXG 031) and M/LSax site (EXG 052) by Mark Sommers. The evaluation took the form of a total strip of the building footprint area down to 45cm maximum. Natural was observed only in the northern 20% of the stripped area, where a single, undated, narrow gulley was located. Metal detector finds included two silver Med coins. Details in (S1).
