`Brick Works' marked on OS 1:2500 map (2nd ed 1904), kiln marked at TL 9196 4921. A meadow in the Tithe apportionment of 1842 (S1). Works were operated by George Mumford 1853-79, William Moore 1883-92, Frederick Turner 1892-1908, George Fisk 1907-12 (S2).
