Full Description

Large six-storey tower mill, built in 1844 to replace a nearby post mill (GAZ 020). It ceased work c.1920 and was converted into a house in 1947, no machinery or cap remaining. There were four patent sails, a boat-shaped cap with gallery and fantail, four pairs of stones originally and from 1893, a Turner roller mill and centrifugal plant (S1).
