Full Description

December 1994: possible sword & side looped spearhead fragments metal detected from `E part of site'. Bronze blade fragment, extremely corroded and battered. Width 30.7mm, thickness 6.7mm, surviving length 14.9mm. Sketch in (S1). Probably sword fragment. Fragment of hollow casting of butt and part loop(?) of smallish, socketed artefact (S1), probably a side looped spearhead. Sketch in (S1).
