Full Description
Three mills are recorded (locations unknown, but probably including this site) at Forham St Genevieve in 1086.
The Abbot had villa (see FSG 003 (Med) and 004) and water mill for corn - estate known as Abbot's Mill (S1).
One miller is recorded in the parish in 1550-1599, two in 1600-1649 (S1). HER location relates to mill, builidng (and leat) shown and named as `Flower Mill', in 1769 (S2).
