Full Description

1996: Metal detector finds. (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), lead seal matrix, pointed oval shape with projecting unpierced lug at top of reverse. Fleur-de-lys and inscription translating into `The Seal of Margaret the daughter of Geoffrey'. Probably C13. Impression taken.
(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) approx - lead seal matrix, circular, flat reverse with scored mark like a `7'. Central 6-armed star or flower with inscription translating into `The seal of love'. Probably C13. Impression taken (S1).
