Full Description
Water(?) mill suggested by field names on tithe: Great Mill Brook Field (tithe plot 300) and Little Mill Brook Field (plot 297)(S1) just to S of small stream at TL 983 442. To W and E stream forms parish boundary with Kersey (note Kersey lists one water mill in the Domesday survey). Also note that no millers are recorded in Lindsey in surviving registers dating from 1500 onwards (S2).
A mill is recorded in 1251 (S2).
