Full Description
September/October 1993: site assessment in advance of proposed development in form of 15 trenches. Rom finds listed as: Colchester derivative type brooch, probably C1, form disturbed PMed layer in Area A, Trench 2. Also LIA/early rom pottery in two ditches - see IA. Excavation in 1997 - 10 Roman ditches found. Also 8 modern features. See (S2) for details of excavation.
