Full Description
`Mill (water) & garden' shown and named in (S1), also shown by Bowen in 1755 (S2). Still in use as corn mill in 1844 (S3). Now gone (?), as has parts of leat to N & S.
Note 'Old Mill' and 'Old Mill House' Listed as 19th century and surviving.
In 1380 was the Lord's (John de Bures) Mill (melle) on 'mellelane' (letter and map of 2001,from archive documents, by John B Weller in parish file).
HBSMR mapping revised to include will buildings and mill leats etc (CP, July 2011).
