Full Description

Circumstantial evidence suggests possible water-mill site. The decoy ponds of about 1830 (see PMed) replaced earlier water features (?estate map) and, according to one of estate workers Decoy Cottage overlies a water course (S1). Two fields to the S of Decoy Cottage are named Mill Meadow and Mill Hill and two to the E are named Mill Hill and Mill Field (S2).
