Two phases of monitoring recovered sherds of medieval pottery, and recorded a number of pits.

Full Description

January 1999: Monitoring of house footings located Preh burnt and worked flints, MSax Ipswich ware and Med pottery (S1).
Further monitoring in November 2000-February 2001 recorded at least eleven pits, one of which had stratified medieval pottery in its base. Small quantities of Mid and Late Saxon and medieval pottery was recovered indicating occupation in the vicinity (S2).
