Full Description

1992: Fieldwalking carried out as part of 22 ha survey (including BAY 032, BLG 018 & BLG 019) shovel test holes, earthwork survey and metal detector survey also carried out. PMed field names (S3).
Fieldwalked: 24m transects, divided into 100m stints, (therefore less thoroughly walked than adjacent fields BAY 031 and BAY 032 due to 'lack of finds and time'. Finds summarised as: worked flints - 5 unpatinated flakes, 1 leaf shaped arrowhead. Pot - 5 body sherds (Pmed), 1 body sherd (Preh), 1 piece of brick, burnt flints (S4).
Metal detected: same transects as fieldwalk, every 3rd transect. Non ferrous four finds included 2 buttons (Lmed), budkle fragment, lead woolpack seal fragment (see report S5).

Pre 2003: metal detector, LBA sword fragment, 2 Roman copper coins, 2 silver med coins a one med lead seal matrix, 1 Pmed lead token.
