Description
An effective field survey has been carried out on the area of the proposed extension to Mason's Quarry, Great Blakenham/Baylham parishes, Suffolk. In addition a map/documentary and aerial photographic search has also been carried out. The results of this work are noted in section 6 above. Insummary they indicate that while the study area does contain a low level scatter of archaeological finds it does not appear to have any significant archaeological sites within the limits of the study area as indicated on Map 1.
