Full Description

October 2000: WB on construction of ponds, nothing in ponds, area to east scraped for spoil disposal, examined after spoil had been moved and very soft, wet under foot. Small number (5) Rom greyware sherds, also few crumbs HM pottery, organic temper, ?IA/EAS, probably from scraped soil (S1).
Later metal detcting (2003) revealed 2 silver med coins. Also pmed silver coin. S2
