Full Description

A small excavation carried out in advance of an extension to Building 1155 uncovered LIA/ERom settlement occupation consisting of pits and ditches. The pottery is dated to a narrow period covering the beginning to middle of c. 1st century AD. The southern part of the site had evidence for water sorted and lain deposits suggesting that this was a small separate settlement to the main LIA/Rom site (LKH 146 etc). Details in (S1).
