Full Description
1997: Trial trench evaluation revealed two ditch features. One of the ditches corresponded with the location of a field boundary on OS maps into the 20th century. The other ditch appeared to be approximately parallel; two fragments of post-medieval brick were recovered from the top of the ditch and and across the surface of the site which appeared to have been used to consolidate the surface and to level the site (S1).
