Full Description

Meadow works consisting of a series of drains, some parallel to the river and some at right angles to it. Only just visible as slight depressions, filled with mud and reeds/rushes. Two drains parallel to the river are particularly prominent. Field is wet grassland with rushes. Similar works exist in the field to the east (SKT 026) and possibly in another field farther to the west at TM 03805815. (S1) Probably hop-growing beds of about the 1790s- see A. Young 'General view of the Agriculture of Suffolk, 1797, 88-93.
