Full Description
Trenched evaluation in advance of mineral extraction revealed numerous shallow pit features containin much charcoal but no finds. Surrounding natural reddened suggesting in-situ fire. Number of undated ditch features also recorded (S1).
Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2001 (S2).
