Full Description
2002: Desk based assessment & evaluation trenches at Centre Parcs found an undated field ditch and an ancient soil profile. Details in (S1)(S2).
2002: Desk based assessment identified an archaeological potential for Late Palaeolithic and later prehistoric periods and associated geological and environmental evidence within a former channel in the north-eastern part of the Forest Resort (S1).
Evaluation trenching identified an undated boundary ditch and an ancient soil profile below windblown sand. No artefactural material was recovered (S2).
