Full Description

1987/88 South East Suffolk survey produced scatters of burnt flint, lithics, roman, Mid to Late Saxon and Medieval pottery. Details in (S1).

Earlier find spots include Saxon finds MRM 067 and 068.

2000: Also bronze med/pmed strap fitting found metal detecting in 2000, (S2)

1988: Also Ancissa type bronze brooch found metal detecting in 1998, (S3)

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S4).
