Full Description

2005: Watching brief for a conservatory on the south side of the house showed deep topsoil c.0.7m deep, possibly with some build up where the ground had been levelled. Description of section cut several years ago through likely town bank, consisting mainly of large flints, described by excavator of access road on south side of 'Copper Beeches' (S1).
