Full Description
Possible rectangular moat (surrounding Church Grove?) depicted on OS 1st edition 1 inch map of 1837 (S1).
1880s and more recent OS maps show wooded area more extensive and less rectangular with only west arm of moat surviving. Tithe map & other documentary search needed.
